FIGA 2011 - OKLAHOMA CITY - HOTEL RESERVATIONS
 
 
Dear FIGA members:  The Sheraton Bricktown hotel - site of the 2011 FIGA convention to be held from July 13th thru 16th - has just added a direct link for reservations.
 
PLEASE NOTE:  It is very important for this as well as future FIGA conventions that our out of town attendees stay at the designated convention hotel.  Our use of meeting space for jamming, concerts, workshops, vendors and rehersals is entirely dependent upon hotel guest rooms being occupied by those attending the convention.  To insure adequate meeting space for our needs, FIGA must make a financial guarantee on behalf of its members that a certain number of guest rooms will be occupied during the convention and should that guarantee not be met, FIGA must pay the full cost for both the rental of the meeting space as well as the unsold guest rooms it has contracted.
