1920s Gretsch Artist

Acoustic Arch top Guitar

Hard to find example
Restored, with some patina left for character.
Solid Spruce top
Maple Neck, back and sides
A few cracks were made stable.
Frets-Binding Side Markers
Elevated fingerboard, with Radius
Solid bar truss
Correct style replacement bridge, properly fitted to the body
Original pick guard
Vintage tuning machines
Previous repairs included a screw in the heel to the neck block, so I left it, and placed an MOP marker over it.
It will be forever stable.
Refinished in Nitro, 3 stage sunburst.
4 coats only, so the grain would show on the solid spruce top.
Engraved Tailpiece
Celluloid Logo in Peg head.
Plays very well with a great tone and feel.
Hard shell case  in GC, is 50s Gretsch I think but nice to have.
The guitar fits it well.
