Banjo for sale

Collector grade

1920's Ludwig
 Ambassador Deluxe
19 fret tenor

From the estate of the Ludwig family, this is one of the best example of Ludwig banjos. This model features the full heavy flange with tulip cutouts. All metal parts are gold and engraved. The resonator is walnut with decorative floral marquetry and has a special locking device inside that holds the resonator onto the banjo, it is extremely well made and works like a charm.
The walnut neck has fine engraved pearl inlay in the fingerboard and peghead with a gold plate at the end of the board engraved W. A. Harter. It is an exceptionally fine quality instrument.

Condition: EXF, orig finish, original plating
Case: OHSC, EXF
