Chas A. Stromberg

This is a VERY rare instrument indeed, and I was very fortunate to be able to acquire it.
It was probably made around 1920
I have never seen another like it,and it goes quite well with my Stromberg collection.
It has the most tone I have ever heard from a banjolin, and it really cuts like a knife.

And here it is with its 17 fret tenor brother, both complete with Wilmot Wood "Tone Chamber" resonators, also a Boston Mass company, that made accessories, which keeps these banjos "All Boston made"
