Outside white is totally gassed out

Top and bottom, all has to go.

Always razor the meeting edge to offset chip outs

Some of the .010" black is melted to the white from the gassing
No matter how hard you try, this could happen depending on materials used and the gassing process.

You cannot peel that with a razor, its not glue, its "one"

So some of the black will need to be pieced in

That is how totally degraded celluloid comes off.

Ready to clean frets/oil board after binding

I will replace that missing MOP dot

Back completed, ready to scrape side then add tint.

Body buffed and polished
