Gibson TB 00 tenor neck
More to follow
This is a mock up of the peghead with my Logo template (metal)
I will add more inlay and then the Logo will be MOP
as well
I plan to do a "maple bound peghead outline but not
the truss cover.
That was done with fine line tape and white lacquer, tinted to ivory
Pulled frets, ready to inlay with something, don't know yet.
I will use a wider, more comfortable fretwire
routing the binding channel
It will be .060 wide
Peghead will be wide to narrow.
I will use a maple side binding as well, so all the bound pieces
will be wood.
Now to cut it to profile
Side binding completed
ready to bind peghead
The peghead is now maple bound
I will stain these areas in vintage maple

Tinted and sealed with shellac, ready for inlay
The neck binding will be dyed to match this color.
Starting to take on more clear coats
Ready to pick inlay
I had alot of stuff in my already created inlay so picked some Lange'ish
looking, delicate cut MOP for it
Of course other inlay will surround the logo and the MOP truss cover is a must to liven things up..
This does'nt look bad at all, I will see what the boss says
I chose to go with a coat of thin white laqcuer instead of glueing
and scribing and then routing
This gives me a nice fine line to rout onto
and also it gives me the idea once again to do a "negative" peghead all
in white using black MOP as the inlay and black headstock binding
Funky huh?
I also like to rout the truss rod cover flat sometimes as well and
plan that on this one.
Routing and inlaying
I will get these last 2 in and fill the voids with dust and then level
it all out
Starting the fretting
Frets will be all the way to the binding edge
All sealed in with thin cyano and ready to level
