The wonderful Megaphonic rim.


Cracked, my guess it was the "Slip off" resonator.

I like using heels for sanding blocks

Move sandpaper around to sheet is expended.

Ready to remove frets for heat

After heat, compression fretting. Top first, then up from the heel.

Mineral oil on, will let it sit

Resonator tint complete, clear coating.


Neck finish complete - tuners lubed

Resonator finish complete.

All out, no chip-outs

Sealing each fret in with CA as I go. Oiling as I go.

Frets dressed, ready to 0000 wool the board,

Hint: Ludwig armrest can be adapted.
